No guide or product label can guarantee that using a CBD product will leave a drug test unaffected.
CBD is not the whole product
A bottle may contain cannabinoids other than CBD. Labels and production quality vary. The distinction between CBD and THC does not remove the need to check what is in the finished product.
Workplace rules matter
SAMHSA’s federal workplace testing guidance addresses hemp and CBD use. For people subject to those programs, a CBD product is not a dependable way to avoid the consequences of THC exposure. Other employers and jurisdictions have their own policies. [1]
“Not detected” has a limit
A laboratory result depends on the sample, method, and detection threshold. A COA does not predict a person’s test result, and “broad-spectrum” or “isolate” on the front label is not a personal guarantee.
If a test has consequences for you
Read your actual policy and speak to the designated occupational health or testing contact before using a product. Keep this decision separate from a seller’s marketing claims. We do not provide clearance times or instructions for evading a test.
